So this is what death feels like
The cold cobblestone is piercing through my clothes and burning my skin, but I stay motionless. Should I call out for help? Or is there a policeman watching me as I lay here, prepared to shoot again at the slightest movement? I blink; I have to forcefully re-open my eyes. The endless black sky I'm staring at is smoky with gunpowder. It's a silent, starless night tonight. A familiar night. I remember a lullaby being hummed in my ear, arms hugging me from behind I'm feeling drowsy
